Chris and Jill are coming to Fortnite.

Never played Fortnite honestly.
Chris has his Resident Evil Village and Resident Evil 5 costumes. Jill has her classic Resident Evil costume, along with her outfit from the Resident Evil 3 remake.
Hopefully it is a great event for Resident Evil fans that do play Fortnite.

Game Spark and Archipel have released part 1 of Kamiya Chronicles.
This series features an amazing in-depth interview with Hideki Kamiya.
In part 1, Kamiya discusses why he joined Capcom, plus his experience while being involved in the development of Resident Evil 1 and his experience directing Resident Evil 2.
It appears that Capcom is continuing the 25th anniversary celebrations.
They have recently launched a Halloween themed website which is teasing upcoming announcements due in the next few days.

So the trailer for Resident Evil Welcome to Raccoon City finally dropped.
And it sucked.
Well, the US trailer did. The international trailer is WAY better.
Personally, I have always HATED the 4 non blondes song “what’s going on”. But at least this movie does seem to stick much closer to the games than the Paul WS Anderson flicks. I’ll be there day one no doubt.
That CG on what appears to be William Birkin does have me a little worried though.
Wow, I can’t believe it has been 4 years since I launched GOBLIN6.
This past year involved little growth, but a lot of work went into the “back-end” of the site.
I ended up breaking the forum, then fixed it. Which also ended up breaking the wiki, I also managed to fix that.
We also decided to kick it old school and launch an IRC channel.
The highlight of the year has to be the launch of our Resident Evil Outbreak Server, which would not have been possible without the decision by the obsrv.org team to go open source. Thanks guys!
At this point, every feature I have wanted for the site is now live (forum, wiki, stream, etc.). I just have to work on establishing them, for example, finishing the wiki and staying up to date on new content for it, same goes for the gallery.

BTW, we’re finally playing Resident Evil on this month’s RAID MODE:
Capcom has released a new Gameplay trailer for RE4VR.
The trailer is EXTREMELY short, barely clocking in at 30 seconds.
For the most part, everything looks pretty good.
The only scene that sticks out like a sore thumb is the Del Lago boss fight. Due to the first person view, that area now looks pretty much empty.
Here’s hoping that boss fight is still memorable for anyone playing Resident Evil 4 for the first time.

Albert has posted the final update for Separate Ways.
Chapters 4 and 5 were all the remained to be fully remastered. According to his notes, most of the work was spent on the cutscenes. Combining AI upscaling with AfterEffects.
His notes also state that he is looking to have a final release of the mod by Christmas.

A new trailer for Shinji Mikami‘s Tango Gameworks‘ Ghostwire Tokyo was featured in the PlayStation Showcase 2021 reel.
This game looks like Ghostbusters meets Tokyo meets the “Urban Ninja” look which dominates Pinterest.
I love it.
As promised, the GOBLIN6 Outbreak Server is back online.
All current users can log-in as normal. There were no IP changes to the server.

The GOBLIN6 Outbreak Server will be offline from Friday August 20th 2021 (noon CST US) to Tuesday September 7th 2021 (noon CST US).
During our downtime we will be backing-up the server as well.
The Dead by Daylight team has released an extended trailer for their Resident Evil Crossover.
This trailer shows the Redfield siblings will be joining the crossover.
Claire (like Leon and Jill) is sporting her remake look.
Chris’ model has been updated as well (clearly using his remake 1 appearance as a base).
Just announced by Capcom, due “to popular demand” production has officially begun on downloadable content for Resident Evil Village.
Personally, I would love to play as Chris’ Wolfpack squad.

For those eagle-eyed players, you might have noticed that the scream heard the second you walk into Castle Dimitrscu in Resident Evil Village is actually a scream from Dead by daylight.
